There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven ....

Together Lancashire winds up at the end of December 2020

The Board of Together Lancashire has issued this statement.

Together Lancashire now finds itself in a position where funding sources have changed, and core funding is no longer available as it once was. This impacts on the size of the team and our delivery capacity.

The context in which we operate has also changed – we are delighted that churches are increasing their social actions, whilst at the same time the resources available to churches through their denominational infrastructure has strengthened.

The Board has agreed that Together Lancashire will be dissolved at the end of 2020.

Bishop Jill Duff, chair of TL, said, 'We are grateful for all the work of the many staff, volunteers and partners who have been a part of this exciting work over the past 10 years, living out the Gospel in practical action as Jesus wants us to.'

TL's Ops Manager, Gill Beeley stands down at the end of November. To contact the Board of TL, email Work in Blackpool, including the Poverty Truth Commission, will continue, managed by Empowerment. In Blackburn with Darwen, our Young Food Ambassadors programme will be managed by Healthy Living.
